Itinerary

Day 1Nuwara Eliya

Richlanka Tour Assistant will welcome you at Bandaranayaka International airport. Will start the journey straight to Nuwara Eliya and en route visit a tea factory and experience tea manufacturing process. Visit the Hakgala Gardens and Gregory Lake .

Day 2Horton Plains

After breakfast, proceed to Horton Plains.
Horton Plains National Park is a protected area in the central highlands of Sri Lanka and is covered by montane grassland and cloud forest.
Return to hotel in Nuwara Eliya.

Day 3Udawalawe

After breakfast drive 4hrs to Udawalawe.
Udawalawe National Park is a major National Park in Sri Lanka which is renowned for its high population of wild Asian elephants. The Udawalawe National Park located approximately 160 km (99 mi) away from Colombo, is the closest national park to Colombo.
Overnight stay at hotel in Udawalawe.

Day 4Yala

Enjoy a delicious breakfast at hotel and head to Yala National Park.
Yala National Park is the most visited and second largest national park in Sri Lanka, bordering the Indian Ocean. The park consists of five blocks, two of which are now open to the public, and also adjoining parks. The blocks have individual names such as, Ruhuna National Park (Block 1), and Kumana National Park or ‘Yala East’ for the adjoining area. It is situated in the southeast region of the country, and lies in Southern Province and Uva Province.
Overnight stay at a hotel in Yala.

Day 5Sinharaja

Early morning breakfast will be served at the hotel and proceed to Sinharaja.
According to International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), Sinharaja is the country’s last viable area of primary tropical rainforest. More than 60% of the trees are endemic and many of them are considered rare. The hilly virgin rainforest, part of the Sri Lanka lowland rain forests ecoregion, was saved from the worst of commercial logging by its inaccessibility, and was designated a World Biosphere Reserve in 1978 and a World Heritage Site in 1988. The reserve’s name translates as Lion Kingdom.
Overnight stay at an eco-lodge in close proximity to the borders of the rainforest.

Day 6Colombo

Shopping experience in modern shopping malls around the city and transfer to Airport.
